As we fight for a brighter future in nursing, let us remind each other that we carry heavy backpacks, and it is okay to take them off because we are worthy of being cared for as we care for others.

As a nurse, I wonder what it would take for us to leave work and say, “How lucky are we that we get to do this job?”

When we soften and receive together we experience healing and joy.

“Belonging to each other as though our lives depended on it.” What if we believed this whole heartedly? What if this meant connecting to one another not only in our joy but also in our sorrow?
